
Assault on Valenwood is just one of the seemingly endless amount of mods for Skyrim, a game that still has an active modding community despite its release ten years ago. The new mod is called Assault on Valenwood and comes with its own detailed map and some instructions for players looking to get the most out of their time in the Bosmer homeland. A new mod for The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim allows players to explore this area of the world and join a fight against oppressive Thalmor rule. Another location far from Skyrim's shores is Valenwood, the homeland of the Bosmer race. However, despite its size, Skyrim is only one part of the massive world of Tamriel, and its map does not include locations featured in other Elder Scrolls games such as Morrowind and Cyrodiil. Selecting the mod will show you a detailed description of the mod along with the creator’s username, amount of times the mod has been favorited, the mod’s star rating, and occasionally info regarding which other mods it may be incompatible with.From the mountains of Markarth to the swamps of Riften, there are a ton of places to explore in The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim. You can select mods from the featured list and proceed to download them, or you can search for specific mods. When the menu loads, you will see one row which highlights the current featured mods and the row below will show your library of downloaded mods.

Input your login details you created from step 1. If it’s your first time trying to load mods for Skyrim on the PS4, you will be prompted to login to your Bethesda account. Next, boot up Skyrim Special Edition and select “MODS” from the in-game menu. You do not need to make any purchases and shouldn’t need to add any payment methods.
